Nothing Special

A story of cross-generational bonding over simple pastimes, celebrating the tradition of Black families making the reverse migration from North to South in the summertime.

Nothing Special was written by Desiree Cooper, with tactile illustrations by Bec Sloane. It was released in October, 2022, by Wayne State University Press and is available through their website, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org and beyond.
